This is Ginkakuji (銀閣寺), which translates to 'Silver Pavilion'. As you can see from the above, they never got around to putting on the silver coating. I guess the morale of the story is to name something after you're done?In contrast, they clearly got it right with Kinkakuji (金閣寺), the 'Golden Pavilion'.
